Today, British metalcore heavyweights Architects drop their blistering new single, “Blackhole,” a track from their highly anticipated 11th studio album, The Sky, The Earth & All Between, set for release on February 28 via Epitaph Records.
Paired with a jaw-dropping, cinematic music video filmed on location in California, “Blackhole” delivers a visceral punch both sonically and visually.
Frontman Sam Carter shares his excitement: “So excited to have ‘Blackhole’ out, it’s one of my favourite songs from the album. The video is equally as intense as the song.
We filmed the video at such a wild location and we really are at the top of those buildings that you see. This is Architects at our most ferocious.”
The single marks the next milestone in the buildup to The Sky, The Earth & All Between, following the hard-hitting anthems “Whiplash,” “Curse,” and “Seeing Red.”
These tracks have already ignited a frenzy among fans and earned critical praise, with the album securing spots on “Most Anticipated Albums of 2025” lists from outlets like Alternative Press, Kerrang!, Revolver, and Idobi.
If the early singles are any indication, this album is poised to be a career-defining moment for Architects.
Since their 2022 critically acclaimed album the classic symptoms of a broken spirit, Architects have solidified their status as one of the UK’s most vital rock bands.
Highlights from the past year include joining Metallica on tour, electrifying the stage at Download Festival 2023, and headlining Bloodstock Festival. Looking ahead, the band will continue their domination with select dates supporting Linkin Park on their global tour this summer.
Armed with sharp innovation and a renewed hunger, Architects are a band at the peak of their powers—and they show no signs of slowing down.
